WHO WE ARE
The Phoenix Parks & Conservation Foundation (PPCF) was founded in
1979 through the efforts of the Junior League of Phoenix, Arizona. The early vision of PPCF was to help the City of Phoenix create and maintain an inviting, well-equipped and safe park
system for all citizens and visitors. Since its beginning, PPCF has been organized to seek and accept contributions from the public and to encourage community participation to develop special park projects.
In March 2002, the name was officially changed to Phoenix Parks and
Conservation Foundation. This significant change resulted from PPCF’s desire to become a partner with the City of Phoenix, serving as a valuable land trust role.
PPCF is a recognized non-profit and tax exempt organization that depends on
the contributions of money and materials for the acquisition of new parks and preserves and for the renovation of existing parks.
WHAT WE DO
The PPCF provides a comprehensive range of conservation services to a
diverse clientele including government agencies, corporations, foundations, non-profit organizations and individuals. From land acquisition for open space,
urban parks and mitigation to renovating existing parks and enhancing park activities, PPCF is designed to serve our community’s parks and preserves.
The PPCF does not accept unsolicited proposals for funding.
VISION
